Recensioner i media
The newly revised and renamed Routledge Handbook of Translation, Technology and AI offers an ambitious, timely compendium of scholarship on how rapidly developing technologies disrupt, reshape, and reimagine translation and interpreting. By looking beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries and emphasizing human-centered and sociotechnical inquiry, this second edition is an essential guide for anyone seeking to stay abreast of the latest developments and emerging perspectives.- Christopher D. Mellinger, UNC Charlotte, USAThis substantially renewed handbook captures translation and interpreting studies rethinking itself as it grapples with LLMs in a landscape where technology was already moving center stage. Attentive to human cognition, it maps the encounter of multilectal mediated communication with AI. As technologies and debates evolve, this kaleidoscope of today’s views will retain its significance as a record of the field's early critical engagement with LLMs.-Ricardo Muñoz, University of Bologna, Italy
