Jill Armitage, who lives in Ashover, has many romantic tales to her name, from Mills and Boon to short stories for Woman's Weekly. She has also written several books on ghosts and all things spectral, including Ghost Pets and Spirit Animals (2006) and The Haunts of Robin Hood (2007).
