Dipl.-Ing. Dieter Franke has been intensively involved in technical diagnostics of machines and specifically rolling bearings for almost four decades, since studying automotive engineering. His professional activities in the industry have been wide-ranging, from vibration diagnostic services to product development and application, as well as user training.He later continued these diverse activities independently in his own engineering office and today in a company.As a member of the NALS of VDI and DIN, Dieter Franke influenced the development of modern machine diagnostics; he has become known as an author and co-author of numerous books and technical articles on machine and rolling bearing diagnostics.
