Role of Memory in Ethnic Conflict

ED CAIRNS is at the University of Ulster and has been a visiting scholar at the Universities of Florida, Cape Town and Melbourne. Most of his work has investigated the psychological aspects of the Northern Ireland conflict. He is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society and President of the Division of Peace Psychology of the APA. - MICHEAL D. ROE is Professor and Chair of Psychology at Seattle Pacific University, and for many years a research associate with the Centre for the Study of Conflict, University of Ulster. He works with Pacific Northwest Native Americans, supporting their efforts for federal acknowledgement. He is active in APA's Society for the Study of Peace, Conflict and Violence.
