Dr. P. Pal Roy is a Deputy Director and Scientist-in-Charge of the Blasting Department of the Central Mining Research Institute, Dhanbad, India. He is the inventor of CMRI Vibration Predictor Equation, Burden-Spacing Equations and Fragmentation Analyzing Scale besides establishing a number of CMRI standard and guidelines related to blasting methodology and applications.
