She is the author of The School Librarian's Technology Playbook: Innovative Strategies to Inspire Teachers and Learners (Libraries Unlimited, 2020), a contributor to the Libraries Unlimited books School Library Makerspaces in Action (2018) and The School Librarian’s Compass: Stories and Reflections to Help You Find Your Way (2023), the creator of two online courses for ABC-CLIO, and a regular contributor to professional journals.

For those of us who have tried and tried to make a book club work, this is a great set of suggestions and examples to create a lasting book club at your school. I really love the question and answer to “Will participants be required to read the entire book to participate?” I have faculty book clubs where a requirement to “read it all” would have automatically failed. Stacy’s advice to be open-minded will help get your book club off the ground.
