'[This book] represents something new in engaging with Judaism and Christianity together. Here is a very intelligent and spiritually sensitive young Jewish thinker who is equally at home with major philosophical and theological thinkers of modern Judaism and Christianity. She has a gift for going to the theological heart of a text, and the book is a good way into some of the most influential modern thought in both religious traditions.'
