'I often work alongside young colleagues planning and returning to work after maternity leave, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this text. I would have bought this myself if it had been available 10 years ago. The book's strengths are its personal voice, and succinct factual content. This is ideal for a time-poor audience that will seek personal advice, and up-to-date knowledge. In my opinion this book fills a gap in the market, providing a succinct, engaging reference for those preparing to return to anaesthesia.' British Medical Association Programme and Award Winners 2017
