KERRI A. GOODWIN is Professor of Psychology at Towson University, where she teaches courses in research methods, cognition, and the teaching of psychology. She has served as both Assistant Chair and Chair of the Psychology Department and is a Fellow of the Psychonomic Society. Her research and teaching emphasize accessible approaches to scientific thinking. She is an active member of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Psychological Science.C. JAMES GOODWIN is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Western Carolina University and Wheeling Jesuit University, where he taught for 40 years. A Fellow of the American Psychological Association, he is the author of two widely adopted undergraduate textbooks and numerous scholarly articles. His teaching and writing focus on research methods, history of psychology, and the development of scientific inquiry in psychology.
