He has been also credited with 12 book chapters and Editors of 5 books. He is also the member of editorial boards of several international journals related to field of neuroscience. He served as Guest Editor and handled a special issue in various International Journal related to the field of Neuroscience. He is also the member of several scientific societies viz. Indian Academy of Neurosciences, Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India, American Academy of Neurology, International Society of Neurochemistry, American, and Society of Neurochemistry. Bentham Science Publisher (USA) has also appointed Dr. Singh as Bentham Ambassador. He has attended several scientific national and international conferences/symposium/workshops in India and abroad and presented his research work. As a resource person, he has delivered lectures and seminars in various schools and colleges across the country.Shailendra Kumar Mishra is a molecular biologist with over five years of research experience in anti-ageing biology, longevity science, and age-related neurodegenerative disorders, with a particular emphasis on Alzheimer’s disease. His research focuses on the molecular and genetic mechanisms underlying biological aging and their convergence with neurodegeneration, with the aim of identifying therapeutic strategies that promote healthy aging and extended health span.Mishra has made notable contributions to aging research through his work on the hallmarks of aging and anti-ageing drug discovery. His scholarly contributions emphasize drug discovery and intervention strategies targeting genomic instability, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular senescence, and altered intercellular communication. He co-authored the book Anti-Aging Drug Discovery on the Basis of Hallmarks of Aging (Elsevier, 2022) and published the review article Therapeutic Antiaging Strategies (2022), which outlines key genetic, cellular, and pharmacological interventions targeting aging pathways. He is also the co-editor of the forthcoming volume Reverse Aging: Current Research and Future Directions (expected 2026).In similar, his Alzheimer’s disease research addresses neuroinflammation, immune response, biomarkers, cerebrovascular pathology, and nutraceutical-based interventions. His recent book chapters published by Academic Press, Elsevier (2024) focus on biomarkers for Alzheimer’s diagnosis, cerebrovascular targets, nutraceuticals, and genome-editing approaches for neurodegenerative diseases. Mishra is the co-founder of the Indian Scientific Education and Technology (ISET) Foundation and actively promotes interdisciplinary research and scientific education in aging and brain health.
