Ganesh Shivakoti is the founder and director of Ostrom Center for Study of Natural Resources Governance (OCeAN) at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). He is an Adjunct Professor in the Agricultural Systems and Engineering and Natural Resources Management Field of Study at School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD), (AIT). He is also Visiting Professor at School of Sustainability, Arizona State University (ASU). He has published more than 90 peer-reviewed journal papers and edited and authored 12 books. His latest 2017 four edited volumes on “Redefining Diversity and Dynamics on Natural Resources Management in Asia from Elsevier dedicated to Nobel Laureate Elinor Ostrom, are based on long-term academic collaboration in enhancing academic capacity of regional universities in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand and Vietnam on the issues related to natural resources governance and management. Dr Thanh has almost 20 years’ experience in forestry, regional development planning and systems dynamic modelling working in Vietnam and in Australia. He has been published in journals, books as well as co-authored books on forest management and their impacts on local economies Dr Tran’s areas of specialization are in Agroecology and Human Ecology. Currently at Hanoi University of Agriculture where he is the Director for the Center for Agricultural Research and Ecological Studies (CARES). He’s published over 50 articles in Vietnamese and even more in English. Dr Leistz, currently an Associate Professor at Colorado State University, received his PhD at the University of Copenhagen. He has worked in a variety of in Environmental Planning and Management in this region since 1999, and prior to that worked in spatial information technologies as well as local forestry initiatives in Africa. He has published over 30 articles and has contributed chapters to over 10 books.
