She was previously Collection Development Officer, University of Minnesota Libraries, which has a collection of over 5 million volumes. She has consulted on library development in Uganda, Rwanda, and Morocco, and she has published several journal articles and books, including Guide to Technical Services Resources (1994).SHEILA S. INTNER is a Professor in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Simmons College. Her books include Circulation Policy in Academic, Public, and School Libraries (1987) and Cataloging: The Professional Development Cycle (1991), both published by Greenwood Press.
