Dr. Pijush Duttaworks as an Assistant professor and head at the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Greater Kolkata College of Engineering and Management, JIS Group, West Bengal, India. He has more than 12 years of teaching & more than 8 years of research experience. He completed his B. Tech in 2007, M. Tech in 2012 & Ph.D. in 2022. Dr. Dutta's research interests include Sensor and transducer, nonlinear process control systems, Mechatronics systems, optimization algorithms, intelligent systems, Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, and Deep learning. He has 14 International and national patents, he has published more than 100 research articles in his credit, published in international, and national journals & conference proceedings. He is also the Professor-in-Charge, R & D and Consultancy Cell & Nodal Officer of the IPR Cell of BIT. Since 2024, he also works as a Remote Researcher in the Internet of THings & AppliCAtions Lab (ITHACA) at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Western Macedonia, Greece. Dr. Banerjee is also working as the Adjunct Research Faculty under the Lincoln Global Postdoctoral Researcher (LGPR) Programme at Lincoln University College, Malaysia. He is the former Remote Research Fellow of the Cognitive Computing and Brain Informatics Research Group (CCBI) at Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK. He received an M.Tech. degree from the University of Calcutta, in 2002. and a Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in 2005. He is a senior member-IEEE, fellow IETE, and life member CSI. He was awarded the prestigious Boyscast Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to work at the Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK. He received the Endeavour Fellowship Award from 2008–2009 by DEST Australia to work at the University of Western Australia. He received the Young Scientist award both in 2005 in New Delhi and in 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey, from the International Union of Radio Science, Belgium. In 2016, he received the JC Bose research award from IETE, New Delhi.Dr. Panagiotis Sarigiannidisis the Director of the ITHACA lab, co-founder of the 1st spin-off of the University of Western Macedonia: MetaMind Innovations P.C., and Full Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the University of Western Macedonia, Kozani, Greece. He received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2001 and 2007, respectively. His PhD in Computer Science from Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Mohammedia, University Hassan II of Casablanca, in 2013. His research interests are wireless communication and network, mobility management, QoS/QoE, Internet of things, Smart cities, Optimization and Machine learning. He has published more than 60 papers (book chapters, international journals, and conferences), 10 edited books, and 1 authored book. He has served and continues to serve on executive and technical program committees of numerous international conferences such as IEEE PIMRC, ICC, NTMS, IWCMC, WINCOM, ISNCC.
