Reassessing Tudor Humanism

JONATHAN WOOLFSON, a former British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow, is Senior Lecturer in History at University College Chichester. He is the author of Padua and the Tudors: English Students in Italy, 1485-1603 and of articles on sixteenth century cultural and intellectual history.
