From the reviews: JAMA April 27, 2004:..."this gem of a book is unique, extremely well-written, concise, surprisingly thorough, and extremely valuable for all types of physicians in all fields of medicine. It likely will quickly become a classic, and the editors and authors deserve commendation for their Herculean efforts." RAD Magazine, June, 2005: This is a quite excellent book and shows in lovely detail the extent of radiological and pathological correlation that is possible with modern medical imaging. The blurb on the back cover states that this book is an unique source of information for radiologists and other specialists, including gastroenterologists, surgeons, pathologists, gynaecologists, urologists and oncologists. This is very true and this book is very strongly recommended to these professional groups. This book would be of great benefit to medical students who are learning patholgy. This book should be in university, hospital and departmental libraries. As always, the quality from Springer is superb. (Dr. Adrian Thomas, RAD Magazine, June, 2005) "The authors are professors in departments of radiology ... . They have developed the concept of the radiologic-pathologic correlation, well established by the Radiologic pathology department at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington. This is a useful tool for teaching and learning, but the authors aimed to go further in offering this textbook, which is not only an educational one but also a suitable compilation of the up dated state of art about the topic."
