"The author has filled a gap that has existed in Radhakrishnan studies for a long time. The book serves as a very good introduction to Radhakrishnan's life and thought, and one gets a clear picture of his evolution as a thinker." — Ishwar C. Harris"Minor provides a comprehensive look at Radhakrishnan from the vantage point of the religious dimensions of his work. It is done with thoroughness, and the reader is able to encounter the entire range of Radhakrishnan's reflections." — Austin B. Creel"This book covers a broad range of literature and is an entrance to all of the relevant primary and secondary material on Radhakrishnan. Particularly striking is the manner in which Minor sees Radhakrishnan's use of such terms as 'democracy,' 'secularism,' and 'socialism' as religious categories in his thought." — Robert D. Baird
