Ray Morton (Los Angeles, CA) is a writer, script consultant, and screenplay analyst. A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Morton has written for television and the screen, pens the monthly “Meet the Reader” column for Scriptmag.com, and is the author of the books King Kong: The History of a Movie Icon from Fay Wray to Peter Jackson; Close Encounters of the Third Kind: The Making of Steven Spielberg's Classic Film; Amadeus: Music on Film; and A Hard Day's Night: Music on Film.
