KATHERINE O'DONNELL is Lecturer in Feminist Theory in the Women's Education, Research and Resource Centre (WERRC) at University College Dublin. She has published several articles on Eighteenth-Century Ireland. MICHAEL O'ROURKE is a teaching Fellow in the School of English at University College Dublin. With Katherine O'Donnell, he edited Love, Sex, Friendship and Intimacy Between Men, 1550-1800 (Palgrave 2003). He has published several articles on gender theory and French philosophy.
