Dr. Prashant Kesharwani, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr.Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India. He has more than 12 years of teaching, research,and industrial experience across various countries. An overarching goal of his current research is the development ofnanoengineered drug delivery systems for various diseases. He has more than 400 international publications in well-reputedjournals and more than 30 international books (Elsevier). His work has garnered 40,000 + citations, with an h-index of above100, making him one of the youngest Indian researchers to achieve an h-index of 100 at the age of 41. He is a recipientof many research grants from various funding bodies. He is also the recipient of several internationally acclaimed awards,such as “USERN Laureate award and “SERB-Ramanujan Fellowship Award. He has presented many invited talks and oralpresentations at prestigious scientific peer-conferences, received international acclaims and awards for research contribution,supervised students/junior researchers, and actively participated in outreach and scientific dissemination for the service ofthe wider community. Dr. Surender Singh is a Professor at the Department of Pharmacology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. He has been a faculty member of pharmacology for more than thirty-two years of which seventeen years he has worked at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has authored ten books, and over 140 scientific papers in indexed journals; he has completed over 35 research projects funded by different research funding Government agencies e.g., JSPS, UCL, ICMR, DST, DBT, UGC, AIIMS, AYUSH. Dr Singh is the recipient of many awards, including the ICMR for Biomedical Research, 2017. He has made significant contributions in the field of pharmacotherapy of inflammatory disorders, as well as the application of nanotechnologies for use in drug delivery. He is a Fellow of National Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS), India, Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), United Kingdom, Fellow of International Medical Science Academy, India (FIMSA) and Fellow of Institution of Chemists (FIC), India.
