Federica Murmura is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, Society, and Politics at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, Italy. Her research has been published in various international scholarly journals.Laura Bravi is a Researcher and Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, Society, and Politics (DESP) at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, Italy. She teaches International Marketing and Service Marketing & Management at the Bachelor’s degree level and Integrated Business Logistics at the Master’s degree level. Her research focuses on technological innovation, quality management, and internationalization. Dr. Bravi has published over 100 publications including journal articles in international journals, book chapters, and monographs. She is also Managing Editor of the International Journal of Economic BehaviorDr. Pierli Giada is a research fellow at the Department of Economics, Society, and Politics at the University of Urbino. Her research focuses on the interplay between digital transformation, sustainability, and managerial practices, intending to develop effective tools and approaches to support companies in adopting sustainable models.Giada actively participates in various European and national research projects, exploring topics such as sustainable tourism development, female entrepreneurship, digital technologies and sustainable territorial revitalisation.Giada has also contributed to several international and national conferences, presenting her research on sustainability, lean manufacturing, and digital transition. Her academic work has been published in a number of international and national journals, with notable articles on quality management systems, lean approaches, and sustainable business practices.Fabio Musso is a Full Professor in the Department of Economics, Society, and Politics at the University of Urbin Carlo Bo, Italy. His research interests include the internationalization of companies, marketing, commercial distribution, industrial districts, logistics, and tourism. He has published over 200 scientific publications including 18 books. João Reis is an Assistant Professor of Service Science, Operations Management and Supply Chain Management in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Lusofona, Portugal. He is a research fellow at the Research Center on Industrial Engineering, Management and Sustainability (EIGeS) and at the GOVCOPP. In recent years, his research interests are in service science, industrial engineering, and operations management.Gilberto Santos is a researcher at LAETA- INEGI – Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Campus da FEUP, Porto, Portugal. He holds a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Minho University, Portugal and Habilitation from the New University of Lisbon. His current research interests include industrial and mechanical engineering, namely, Quality, Environmental, Safety, Social Responsibility, Innovation Systems, and the respective integration of these management systems known as integrated management systems.Gilberto Santos participates as a Speaker in several national and international conferences and he is currently the author of several Scopus publications in Integrated Management Systems (IMS) – QES (quality, environment and safety) (books, papers in international and national journals).
