Ronald L. Jackson II (Ph.D., Howard University) is a professor and chair of the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Miami. He is an award-winning author of 20 books and over 125 publications related to the study of masculinity, identity negotiation, race, and culture.Tina M. Harris (Ph.D., University of Kentucky) holds the inaugural Douglas L. Manship - Dori Maynard Endowed Chair of Media and Cultural Literacy in the Manship School of Mass Communication at Louisiana State University. She is an internationally renowned interracial communication scholar with interests in race, media representations, and racial social justice.
