Prothesenkörper

With today’s technological advances, the connections between bodies and technology are increasingly seamless. Prosthetic technology, too, is developing aspects of intimate and invasive technification within the scope of its digital transformation, leading to new body-technology relations. This book examines body-prosthetic relations in terms of their significance for the philosophy of technology and the history of artifacts.
