Progress in Anti-Cancer Chemotherapy

This volume describes selected examples of both diagnostic and therapeutic progress in areas of Hematological malignancies and common human solid tumors, with emphasis in research that has immediate or very short-term clinical application. The expanded understanding of the processes of malignant transfomation, invasion and metastasis has contributed to exciting developments in the area of targeted interventions, both in diagnostic and therapeutic areas. The past two decades have also whitnessed substantial advances in biomedical technology, advances that have contributed substantially to accelerating the pace of discovery.
