Dr. Mohd Faizal Hasan is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is also a research fellow of Sustainable Energy and Reacting Flow research group. He earned his Ph.D. from Keio University (Japan), focusing on research related to hydrogen production and purification. His current research areas include thermodynamics, combustion and energy conversion, and his research outputs are related to torrefaction, pyrolysis, densification and washing. Dr. Mohd Faizal also serves as the Coordinator for Thermodynamics Field at the faculty, and has been appointed as a reviewer for many manuscripts submitted to various prestigious international journals.Dr. Muhammad Noor Afiq Witri Muhammad Yazid is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He earned his B.Eng., M.Eng., and Ph.D. degrees from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His expertise includes computational fluid dynamics (CFD), fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. He has published more than 50 research outputs, including journal articles, conference papers, proceedings, and book publications. Dr. Afiq also serves as the Field Coordinator (Fluid Mechanics) and leads the Computational Fluid Mechanics Research Group (CFMRG) at the faculty, where he actively mentors students and collaborates with researchers.Professor Muhammad Wakil Shahzad, Professor and Chair of Advanced Energy & Sustainability at Northumbria University and a Royal Academy of Engineering Industrial Fellow, is an international leader in sustainable cooling, clean water generation, hydrogen systems and circular economy technologies. He has led major UKRI and FCDO projects, founded EcoTechX, developed award-winning innovations, contributed to global policy, and advanced impactful research across academia and industry.Dr. Seyed Ehsan Hosseini is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Arkansas Tech University (ATU). He established the Combustion and Sustainable Energy Laboratory at ATU and worked on several projects funded by NASA and the Department of Transportation. Since 2020, Dr. Hosseini has been on the Elsevier Stanford list of the 2% most-cited scientists globally. Before joining Arkansas Tech University, Dr. Hosseini was a postdoctoral research fellow at San Diego State University, working on a hybrid solar thermal energy generation system funded by the Department of Energy. He has published more than 100 scientific papers in high-ranked international journals.Dr. Ardiyansyah Yatim received his Ph.D. in Refrigeration Engineering from Oklahoma State University, USA (2015) on a Fulbright scholarship, a Master's degree from Chonnam National University, South Korea, and a Bachelor's from Universitas Indonesia. His ASHRAE-funded research focused on microchannel heat exchangers. He is a faculty member at the Mechanical Engineering Department, Universitas Indonesia, specializing in sustainable cooling technology. Dr. Yatim holds influential roles, including serving on Jakarta’s building expert team, as a jury member for the National Energy Efficiency Award, and leading the refrigeration system technical committee for the Indonesia National Standard Body.
