Shubhajit Roy Chowdhury is Professor at the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering and Chairperson of the Centre for Human Computer Interaction at IIT Mandi. He earned his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in 2010 and has previously served at IIIT Hyderabad and Jadavpur University. A Senior Member of IEEE and Fellow of FIETE, FSAB, and the Association for the Advancement of Biodiversity Sciences, Dr. Chowdhury has received numerous honors including university gold medals, the Young Engineers Award (2012–13), VIFA Young Faculty Award (2015), and Young Neurologist Award (2015). He has published over 180 papers, authored nine books and book chapters, and serves as Associate Editor for leading journals such as IEEE Sensors Journal, IEEE Access, and Journal of Medical Systems. His research focuses on biomedical embedded systems, neurodiagnostic and neurotherapeutic technologies, VLSI architectures, and non-invasive medical diagnosis. Dr. Chowdhury is deeply committed to advancing education and fostering transformation in academic systems.Nilanjan Dey (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech., M.Tech. in information technology from West Bengal Board of Technical University and Ph.D. degrees in electronics and telecommunication engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2005, 2011, and 2015, respectively. Currently, he is Professor with the Techno International New Town, Kolkata and a visiting fellow of the University of Reading, UK. He has authored over 300 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences and 40 authored and 70 edited books. His research interests include medical imaging and machine learning. Moreover, he actively participates in program and organizing committees for prestigious international conferences, including World Conference on Smart Trends in Systems Security and Sustainability (WorldS4), International Congress on Information and Communication Technology (ICICT), International Conference on Information and Communications Technology for Sustainable Development (ICT4SD) etc. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence, Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society and series Co-Editor of Springer Tracts in Nature-Inspired Computing and Data-Intensive Research from Springer Nature and Advances in Ubiquitous Sensing Applications for Healthcare from Elsevier etc. Furthermore, he is an Editorial Board Member of IEEE Data Descriptions. He is a Fellow of IETE and member of IE, ISOC etc.Tapas Guha, currently an Associate Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering, Techno International New Town, Kolkata, has a rich work experience of around 23 years across IT Industry and Academia. An M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur, he has worked in eminent IT and academic leaders like IBM India Pvt. Ltd, Presidency University and NMIT Bangalore. Having completed his PhD in 2021, he has several publications in reputed journals and conferences. He also has around 15 national and international utility and design patents granted or published. His research interest largely revolves around Opinion mining, sustainable AI models, Post disaster infrastructure management etc.
