Kwan Hoong Ng, PhD, DABMP, FIUPESM, received his MSc (medical physics) from the University of Aberdeen and PhD (medical physics) from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is certified by the American Board of Medical Physicists. Professor Ng was honoured as one of the top 50 medical physicists in the world by the International Organization of Medical Physics (IOMP) in 2013. He also received the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Award in 2018. He has authored/co-authored over 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 40 book chapters and co-edited 15 books.Chai Hong Yeong, PhD, FIUPESM, FIOMP, is a professor of medical physics at Taylor’s University, Malaysia, and an international leader in the medical physics profession. She currently serves as President of the Southeast Asia Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (SEAFOMP) and Chair of the Medical Physics World Board of the International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP).Alan Christopher Perkins, PhD, HonFRCP, MBE is Professor Emeritus of Medical Physics in the School of Medicine at the University of Nottingham. After completing a PhD in radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies at Nottingham University, he carried out extensive research with clinical, academic and industrial collaborators in nuclear medicine, gastroenterology, radiopharmacology, drug delivery and radiation protection. This resulted in numerous invited presentations at international conferences, authorship of over 250 peer-reviewed journal articles and publications of five textbooks and one popular science book.
