Preliminary List of the Leguminosae in Northeastern Brazil

This book provides botanists in the region with the means to assemble complex information on Brazilian plant diversity. Nine thousand and sixty-six specimens were examined and 869 species are recorded in 135 genera, and duplicates lodged in Kew and at other herbaria can be checked against the correct determination.
