Polymer Nanofiber Applications in Cancer Wound Healing

Arun Kumar Singh holds an M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics from Galgotias University, India, and serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Vivekanand Global University. He is actively engaged in teaching and interdisciplinary research spanning nano-formulation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, IoT, blockchain, cancer biology, and neuroscience.Mr. Singh has made substantial scholarly contributions, authoring one book with IOP Publishing, five book chapters with River Publishers, and 28 review articles in reputed journals, including high-impact publications in Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) – Reviews on Cancer. In addition, he has authored and edited 58 books with leading publishers such as Elsevier, CRC Press, and Wiley. Known for his research acumen and leadership, Mr. Singh is committed to advancing pharmaceutical sciences through innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration, with a focus on impactful healthcare solutions.Dr Narayan is a Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, The University of Texas at El Paso, Texas, United States. He has authored and co-authored over 100 research and review articles and book chapters.His key areas of focus: free radical biology, protein structure-function relationships, oxidative folding, protein misfolding, halogen bonding, in silico drug design, agricultural impacts of nanomaterials, and chemical education. He is been recognized through over 15 invitations to speak at international forums and features in various media outlets. He is a current member of the Editorial Board for PLOS One.Dr Narayan is invited member of the Editorial Board for Cell Biochemistry and Biophysics since 2016. He has delivered lectures at the Institute of NanoChemistry and NanoBiology, Shanghai University. Dr Narayan has been conferred with various awards such as ACS SA award - ACS SA (12/01/2012-12/31/2012), Nominated UT Regents Teaching Award - UT (12/21/2012), JNU DBT Honorarium (06/01/2010-06/30/2010) ACS honorarium, European Union Travel Award, ICSABER Excellent Scientific presentation certificate – OSU, Presidential Merit Scholar - Parle College, Bombay University. Dr Meenakshi Dhanawat, is currently working as Associate Professor in Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Haryana. She has a background in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Medicinal Chemistry. She has done Masters from NIPER, Mohali and the project was based on Glycosylamino acids. Her PhD is from IIT-BHU, Varanasi and she worked on CNS drug delivery targeting 5HT1A/2A receptor. Apart from that she has a vast experience in the extraction of herbal drugs. Area of interest are Synthetic Chemistry, Heterocyclic Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Drug Delivery, Prodrug and Co-Drug Drug Design Complexation, Polymer Chemistry, and their application in drug delivery.She has 17 years of teaching and research experience. She has attended several national and international conferences in india and abroad the recipient of the travelship award in DDD section of AAPS-2010, National Biotechnology Conference, California, USA. She has been able to grab the international travel grant from DBT and DST for attending the International Conference at California, USA and Munich, Germany Respectively. She has also grabbed many other fellowships awards, which includes Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship. With sixteen years of experience in teaching and research, she has held positions such as DST Women Scientist (WOS-A) at Punjab University, Chandigarh, and received prestigious fellowships like the CSIR-SRF and UGC-MRP. Dr. Kaur was awarded the "Dr. Harpal Singh Buttar and Harinder Kaur Buttar Young Scientist Award in Pharmaceutical Sciences for Rural Women" in 2013 and the Young Scientist Award "Women in Pharmaceutical Sciences" in 2023. Her research focuses on computational drug design, synthesis of fused-heterocyclic compounds, nanomedicine, and AI, particularly in inflammation, asthma, and neurological disorders. Dr. Kaur has published over 50 papers and 10 book chapters, and has edited a book. She is a senior member of the Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (HKCBEES) and a life member of the Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association (IPGA). D Dr. Nimisha is an Associate Professor at Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Uttar Pradesh Lucknow Campus, India. She brings extensive teaching and research experience. She has mentored many M Pharm Pharmaceutics students on major projects and guided several Ph.D. scholars. Her publications cover novel drug delivery systems and dermatological disorders such as psoriasis and dermatitis, with emphasis on inflammation, wound healing, ethosomes and transferosomes for herbal phytoconstituents, and nanocrystals for cancer therapy. She served as a brand ambassador for Bentham Science, USA. She was selected to present a notable innovation, Herbal remedy for Psoriasis, at a Bio-Tech Startup Expo. She has been honored with a Best Researcher award for work on herbal remedies for dermatological disorders by the Society of Biotechnologists of India. She has presented papers at numerous conferences and holds several Indian patents, copyrights, and a design patent.
