Polymer Nanofiber Applications in Cancer Wound Healing

Arun Kumar Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rayat Bahra University V.P.O. Sahauran , India. He completed his M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics from Galgotias University, Greater Noida. His research interests include nano-formulation, blockchain, IoT, machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cancer biology, and neuroscience. He has contributed to academic books and book chapters and has published review articles in the areas of pharmaceutical sciences and healthcare technology. His work focuses on interdisciplinary approaches integrating pharmaceutical research with emerging digital and computational technologies. Dr. Narayan, FRSC, is a biophysicist and Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. His research focuses on protein misfolding and neurodegenerative onset, with attention to underlying mechanisms and potential intervention strategies. He also works on chemical education and aspects of drug design and development. Dr. Narayan is associated with approaches that emphasize simple, back-of-the-envelope calculations to support scientific reasoning. He has authored and co-authored research and review articles, book chapters, and educational works (over 100). Dr Meenakshi Dhanawat, is currently working as Associate Professor in Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Haryana. She has a background in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Medicinal Chemistry. She has done Masters from NIPER, Mohali and the project was based on Glycosylamino acids. Her PhD is from IIT-BHU, Varanasi and she worked on CNS drug delivery targeting 5HT1A/2A receptor. Apart from that she has a vast experience in the extraction of herbal drugs. Area of interest are Synthetic Chemistry, Heterocyclic Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Drug Delivery, Prodrug and Co-Drug Drug Design Complexation, Polymer Chemistry, and their application in drug delivery.She has 17 years of teaching and research experience. She has attended several national and international conferences in india and abroad the recipient of the travelship award in DDD section of AAPS-2010, National Biotechnology Conference, California, USA. She has been able to grab the international travel grant from DBT and DST for attending the International Conference at California, USA and Munich, Germany Respectively. She has also grabbed many other fellowships awards, which includes Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship. She has Published more than 85 Research/Reviews along with Patent-06, Books 6, Book Chapter 22, Book Editor 02, Copyright 01.Prof. (Dr.) Rajwinder Kaur is the Assistant Dean of Pharm D (Academics) at Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Punjab, India. With sixteen years of experience in teaching and research, she has held positions such as DST Women Scientist (WOS-A) at Punjab University, Chandigarh, and received prestigious fellowships like the CSIR-SRF and UGC-MRP. Dr. Kaur was awarded the "Dr. Harpal Singh Buttar and Harinder Kaur Buttar Young Scientist Award in Pharmaceutical Sciences for Rural Women" in 2013 and the Young Scientist Award "Women in Pharmaceutical Sciences" in 2023. Her research focuses on computational drug design, synthesis of fused-heterocyclic compounds, nanomedicine, and AI, particularly in inflammation, asthma, and neurological disorders. Dr. Kaur has published over 50 papers and 10 book chapters, and has edited a book. She is a senior member of the Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (HKCBEES) and a life member of the Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association (IPGA). D Dr. Nimisha is an Associate Professor at Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Uttar Pradesh Lucknow Campus, India. She brings extensive teaching and research experience. She has mentored many M Pharm Pharmaceutics students on major projects and guided several Ph.D. scholars. Her publications cover novel drug delivery systems and dermatological disorders such as psoriasis and dermatitis, with emphasis on inflammation, wound healing, ethosomes and transferosomes for herbal phytoconstituents, and nanocrystals for cancer therapy. She served as a brand ambassador for Bentham Science, USA. She was selected to present a notable innovation, Herbal remedy for Psoriasis, at a Bio-Tech Startup Expo. She has been honored with a Best Researcher award for work on herbal remedies for dermatological disorders by the Society of Biotechnologists of India. She has presented papers at numerous conferences and holds several Indian patents, copyrights, and a design patent.
