Altered climatic patterns, rising sea level, denuding green cover and extinction of species have thrown environmental ecosystems into disarray worldwide and affected in multifarious ways life on earth, human and vegetal, in all its intersections and entanglements. This book project explores these intersections and entanglements in North East India, in ways that challenge, question, and problematize anthropocentric understandings of the region in the present day and time.
