“This encyclopedia will be of interest to differentiated audiences, from pathologists to teachers and historians … . Interestingly, the encyclopedia will also serve as a reference for accurate and complete information about the many eponyms in pathology, that is, the scientists whose names are now used to identify pathological processes. … This is a unique work that will usefully complete multiple biographies on single pathologists as it offers a survey of the whole sector.” (Alain Touwaide, Doody's Book Reviews, February, 2018)
