Phenomenology of Emotions

Hannes Gustav Melichar is a Research Associate at Heidelberg University Hospital, Principal Investigator of the Fritz Thyssen Foundation project The Nature of Reasonable Abilities, and Co-Leader of the IDEE project at the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. His research focuses on phenomenology, philosophy of mind, and German philosophy. Philipp Schmidt-Boddy is a Research Associate at Heidelberg University Hospital and Co-Leader of a project on embodiment and inner speech at the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. His research spans phenomenology, emotion theory, history of philosophy, and philosophy of psychiatry, engaging closely with contemporary psychological approaches. Thomas Fuchs is Karl Jaspers Professor of Philosophy and Psychiatry at Heidelberg University. His work centers on phenomenological philosophy and psychopathology, embodied and enactive cognitive science, and interactive concepts of social cognition. Clinically, he specializes in the psychopathology and psychotherapy of affective and schizophrenic disorders. Christian Tewes is a Professor of Philosophy at Alanus University Mannheim, where he works in educational contexts with a focus on phenomenology and philosophy of mind.
