This book is about the adventure of a half-Persian (Iranian) woman who was born in the United States and travels to Iran for the first time at the age of 30 to attend a cousin's wedding. Against the historical backdrops of Persepolis and Esfahan, she begins to understand the true cultural/sociological differences while clarifying her own identity as a Persian-American.
