Sebastien Brebel was born in 1971 in Argenteuil, France. He lives in Nantes, France where he teaches Philosophy, and is the author of three novels, of which this (Francis Bacon's Armchair) is his second to appear in English.Jesse Anderson is a literary translator and writer from Olympia, Washington. He currently lives and works in Beijing. Francis Bacon's Armchair was his first book-length publication.
