After being injured in the Boston marathon bombing, NYC fashion designer, SASKIA BELL, 25, struggles with PTSD. Feeling completely lost after her beloved mother dies in her arms, and to escape her controlling billionaire father, Saskia does what she does best. She runs. Flees to Paris.

Leaving her life of privilege behind, Saskia struggles to win her place at Paris's elite Fashion Institut. To survive in the short term, she finds bar work in Montmartre, and lives in a tiny attic which she never wants to leave. But Paris delivers the very thing she's trying to run away from in the form of up-coming French artist, 30-year old RAPHAEL VALENTINE.

Raphael is rich, entitled and determined to take on the Parisian art world. Troubled by his tragic past, short temper, and harsh childhood, every painting, every drawing, every brush stroke fails to pull him from his darkness. Until he meets Saskia.

One motor bike ride through the rainy streets of central Paris ignites a fire which catches them unaware. When two damaged souls unite, the intensity, the fear, their pasts and passions entwine their souls. But balance simmers on a razor sharp edge. Both want to control their own fate, stand on their own feet, but love has other plans. As jealousy and careers threaten to rip them apart, will Saskia and Raphael find, not only themselves, but each other? Or will Paris, the City of Love, destroy them completely?
