Elizabeth Turk is a social anthropologist and Research Fellow in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology at Newcastle University where she is PI of the Wellcome Trust-funded project, Accessing the Wellbeing Commons: Therapeutic resource-ification of natural and historic environments and social exclusion in the UK and Inner Asia.David Sneath is Professor of the Anthropology of Inner Asia and Director of the Mongolian & Inner Asia Studies Unit of the University of Cambridge. He specialises in the anthropology of Inner Asia, particularly Mongolia, focusing on political economy and ecology, land use and the environment, and post-socialist transformation.
