It’s pleasing to report that Sarah hits the mark perfectly here. This is all about light – indoors, outside and in a wide variety of conditions. One of the most important aspects of painting light is to get the shadows right – bright, direct light produces deeper and more richly coloured ones than when it’s softer and diffused.
