Prof Adolfo M. Bronstein is a Consultant Neurologist at Imperial NHS and at the National Hospital Queen Square. He is Professor of Neuro-otology in the Department of Brain Sciences at Imperial College London. He is a regular speaker and session organiser at European and World neurological congresses. He is the founding member of the British Society of Neuro-otology (BSNO) and an ex president of the Neurosciences section of the Royal Society of Medicine. He has published 4 books on balance and dizziness, the most popular co-authored with Thomas Lempert, entitled “Dizziness, a practical approach to diagnosis and management” by Cambridge University Press.

Review from previous edition This is a must-read for those who participate in the care of patients with dizziness, vertigo, and disequilibrium. The book provides a comprehensive, but not necessarily scholarly or exhaustive, review of the various syndromes that might cause dizziness. It also covers a relatively new concept -- that of psychogenic dizzy syndrome, which is highly informative. This is a very useful book that would be helpful for anyone who sees patients complaining of dizziness.
