Dr. Lucas Kohnke is a senior lecturer in the Department of English Language Education at The Education University of Hong Kong. He holds a doctorate in Education from the University of Exeter, which explored educational technology in language teaching at the tertiary level, with a special focus on the professional development of English language teachers. He has taught English as a foreign and second language, and served as a teacher trainer for both pre- and in-service teachers in Sweden, China, Thailand, South Korea, the Sultanate of Oman, and Afghanistan.Dr. Kohnke's main research interests lie in technology-supported teaching and learning and teacher professional development using emerging technologies.
