This is a unique study of electronic culture in the making. The book describes a networked computer culture that in one way or another touches us all. Through case studies and ethnographic observations, this book discusses how and why people develop interpersonal relationships through the Internet and gives the reader an opportunity to study how people develop norms, values, communities, and cultural belief systems.
