Prof. Dr. Michael Embach hat sich 2000 im Fach „Ältere deutsche Philologie“ an der Universität Trier habilitiert. Seit 2007 Leitung der Stadtbibliothek Trier. Arbeitsschwerpunkte: Hildegard von Bingen, Humanismus, Aufklärung, Handschriften und frühe Drucke.
