Readers of all ages love Melanie Watt’s sweetly vulnerable, lovable Scaredy Squirrel. Children relate to his numerous fears of the unfamiliar – both the real, possible threats and the outlandish ones – while being in on the joke of how his checklists, schedules and detailed plans never quite prepare Scaredy the way he thinks they will and usually weren’t needed in the first place! By working through his apprehensions, Scaredy Squirrel shows readers it’s okay to take risks and do the thing you think you can’t do.
