Ernesto Calvo is Professor and Associate Chair of the Department of Government and Politics of University of Maryland-College Park. He is the author of Legislator Success in Fragmented Congresses in Argentina , Anatomía Política de Twitter en Argentina, and La nueva política de Partidos. His research has been recognized with the Lawrence Longley Award and the Leubbert Best Article Award from the Representation and the Comparative Politics sections of the American Political Science Association. Maria Victoria Murillo is Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at Columbia University. She is the author of Labor Unions, Partisan Coalitions and Market Reforms in Latin America and Political Competition, Partisanship and Policymaking in Latin America. Her research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, Russell Sage Foundation, the Fulbright Foundation, and the Harvard Academy for Area Studies.
