Sophie Allsopp spent her childhood endlessly painting, sewing, cutting,and sticking - basically making stuff all the time (except when she wasexploring). She studied for an illustration degree in Bath, then set upan illustration business with help from the Prince's Youth Business Trust, which has flourished with a wide range of clients ever since. In herspare time she still makes stuff - jewellery, dresses and needle felting(amongst other things!) LOIS ROCK has established an international reputation as a children's writer. Specialising in Bible stories, prayer books, and information books, her books have been translated into over 30 languages with sales of 4million copies. Lori C. Froeb lives and works in Westchester County, New York. As a children's book editor, Lori has had the opportunity to write over one hundred books for kids--which she finds both challenging and rewarding.
