Professor Kate Taylor-Jones is Professor of East Asian Studies at the University of Sheffield. She is the author of Divine Work: The Greater East Asian Film Sphere and the Legacy of pan-Asian Visual Culture (2017, Bloomsbury) and Rising Sun and Divided Land: Contemporary Japanese and Korean Film Directors (2013, Wallflower/Columbia University Press). She is co-editor of Prostitution and Sex Work in Global Cinema (2017, Palgrave MacMillan) and International Cinema and the Girl (2016, Palgrave MacMillan).
