DUNCAN PRITCHARD is a Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Stirling, Scotland, UK. His research is primarily in epistemology, and he has published widely in this area including a monograph entitled Epistemic Luck (OUP, 2005) as well as recent articles in such journals as the Australasian Journal of Philosophy, American Philosophical Quarterly, Synthese and The Philosophical Quarterly.
