Adrian Duhalt is a Nonresident Scholar at SMU’s Texas-Mexico Center and former Research Scholar at Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy and Postdoctoral Fellow at Rice University’s Baker Institute. His work has centered on the political economy of energy in Mexico and Latin America, including natural gas, petrochemicals, fertilizers, and national oil companies. He earned a PhD in Economic Geography from the University of Sussex. Isidro Morales is Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Latin American Policy (Wiley), External Fellow at Rice University’s Baker Institute, and Professor at BUAP. He earned his PhD from Sciences Po Paris and has held research and teaching positions at El Colegio de México, the Tecnológico de Monterrey, and universities in Copenhagen and South Korea. He has also been a visiting scholar at Brown University, American University and Yale University.
