Honorary President of the North American Catalan Society since 1978, he is the author of El prologo en el Renacimiento espanol and Temas y formas de la literatura espanola. Jaume Marti-Olivella is the Director of Cultural Activities for the North American Catalan Society. Carme Rey i Grangè teaches Catalan Literature in Stiges (Barcelona).
