Antongiulio Faggiano is Associate Professor of Endocrinology at the Department of Experimental Medicine, “Sapienza” University of Rome, Italy. He is author of more than 190 full papers in international peer reviewed journals and more than 50 chapters in books. He is editor of Frontiers in Endocrinology and reviewer for The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, Journal of Endocrinological Investigation, Endocrine, Clinical Endocrinology, Neuroendocrinology, Molecular Genetics and Metabolism, Endocrine Reviews, European Journal of Cancer. Diego Ferone is full professor and medical tutor at the School of Medicine of the University of Genova, Department of Internal Medicine and Medical Specialties, Director of the Endocrinology section, IRCCS Policlinico San Martino, Genova, Italy. He is Chief of the Endocrinology Unit at the Center of Excellence for Biomedical Research of the University of Genova, Italy. Dr. Ferone is author of more than 200 articles published on International Journals. and presented more than 500 lectures in international and national meetings. Dr. Ferone is author of many chapters of book in the field of endocrinology and is an official teacher at the post-graduate course of the European Society EndocrinologyDr. Simron Singh is a medical oncologist and affiliate scientist in the Odette Cancer Research Program at Sunnybrook Research Institute. He is also an assistant professor at the University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Singh's research interests include neuroendocrine carcinomas as well as population health and cancer care utilization discrepancies. He is co-head of a newly established multi-disciplinary specialized neuroendocrine clinic at Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Center, one of the first in the region. He is involved in numerous activities in the care of neuroendocrine cancer including the role of ki-67 as a prognostic marker, and the utilization of health care resources in the diagnosisand treatment of neuroendocrine tumour patients.
