Nature's Gifts

Nature's Gifts, A Poetry & Coloring Book is the second companion book to the chilren's storybook, Si'ahl and the Council of Animals. The different animal characters, including Si'ahl Bald Eagle, Sammy Painted Turtle and even Digger Earthworm, share child-friendly poems about the different gifts of Nature that help sustain them. Each poem is paired with a delightful illustration to color. Many children today do not have a rich experience exploring wild areas and may not appreciate how much animals and humans alike depend on nature for clean air, water, enriched soil and abundant plant life. By inspiring children to learn about and appreciate Nature's bounty through its poetry and illustrations, Nature's Gifts will encourage children, along with their families, to give back to Nature by helping to restore and protect the natural world. The poetry and coloring pages are appropriate for children ages 5-10.
