Wang Zhongjiang is Distinguished Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Shandong University, Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Peking University, Chair of the Department of Philosophy at Zhengzhou University, and Dean of the Institute for Advanced Humanities Studies at Peking University. His research focuses on Confucian and Daoist philosophy, excavated texts, and modern Chinese philosophy. He has published over 150 articles and over 15 books. Many of his articles and books have been translated into English and Japanese.Kevin J. Turner is Assistant Professor in the Department of Religion and Philosophy at Hong Kong Baptist University. He received his Ph.D. in Chinese Philosophy from Peking University. His research interests include Chinese philosophy, comparative philosophy and the intersection of self, body, and technology. He has published articles in Philosophy East and West, Asian Philosophy, Dao, and Asian Studies. He is the translator of Excavated Texts and a New Portrait of the Early Confucians by Wang Zhongjiang and Family and Filiality: An Intercultural Perspective by Zhang Xianglong.
